Everyday Sorting

A free sorting game for adults with one familiar object and two groups: fruit and things to wear. The object stays on screen while you choose where it belongs.

Where does this belong?

Choose fruit or things to wear. The object stays here while you decide.

Apple

Choose a group below. Take your time.

How to play Everyday Sorting

  1. Look at the pictured object and its label. Choose Fruit or Things to wear by tapping or clicking a group.
  2. Choose Show me for a helpful prompt. If you choose the other group, the game points out a group to try without taking anything away.
  3. Choose Next object when you are ready. After six objects, choose Another basket to start a fresh round.

Playing together

Name the object together or let the player point while you select the group. Apples, cups, clothes, and other everyday things can also start a conversation away from the screen. There is no need to remember an earlier object or finish the basket.

Use Take a break to pause and Continue playing to return. Keep this page open during your break; reloading starts a new game. Choose activities that suit the person today and stop whenever they prefer.
