Privacy policy

Your choice

All games work without an account. Anonymous first-party activity measurement and Google Analytics are on unless you turn them off; advertising measurement is off unless you allow it. Use Privacy choices near the top of every page to change what you share at any time. Browser privacy signals turn optional tracking off.

Progress on your device

Saved games, favorites, difficulty and accessibility preferences stay in your browser. They do not depend on activity measurement. Clearing browser data removes these saves. Essential storage also remembers your privacy choices; administrator authentication uses essential cookies.

Anonymous activity measurement

Unless you turn it off, we record game and page identifiers, semantic actions such as hints and completion, timing, difficulty, language, broad device information and random browser, visit and game-run identifiers. A browser identifier lets us measure return visits on that device; it does not identify a verified person or age. We do not record screens, keystrokes, full game boards, or typed answers/search text. Gameplay identifiers are not linked to email subscriptions.

Retention and turning it off

First-party raw activity is retained for up to 90 days. Aggregated statistics without browser identifiers are retained for up to 13 months. Activity delivery queues expire after 24 hours. Turning measurement off stops future collection and clears its local identifiers and pending events, while keeping saved games. Previously collected records expire under the retention schedule; turning it off does not retroactively erase those records.

Google measurement

Google Analytics runs in consent mode. Unless you turn it off, it may use cookies to recognize repeat visits. When it is turned off it receives only cookieless, non-identifying signals, such as the page viewed, the time and the browser type, so that we can count visits in aggregate; it then sets no cookies and cannot recognize you across visits. Google advertising measurement loads only with the corresponding permission. Advertising personalization is disabled, and a browser privacy signal keeps all Google measurement off. Google processes this information under its own policies. We do not send email addresses or our first-party browser identifiers to Google. Google retention is governed by the service's settings and policies.

Email and feedback

The weekly email is optional and separate from tracking. We retain the address, subscription status, signup time, IP and browser details needed to operate and protect the subscription. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Feedback you submit is stored so we can act on it; an email address is optional unless you want a reply. We do not send reminders based on your gameplay history.

Reliability and service providers

We use sanitized error reports to fix faults and operational security logs to protect the service. These are separate from optional product analytics. Our email delivery provider processes requested emails, Sentry processes sanitized fault reports, and Google authentication is used for administrators. Fonts are served with the site. We do not sell your personal information.
