How to play Garden Sudoku

Choose a small grid
Gentle uses a 4 × 4 grid with the numbers 1–4. Standard and Challenge use a 6 × 6 grid with the numbers 1–6. The starting numbers stay in place.
Look for a missing number
Each number belongs once in every row, column and outlined box. Gentle has 2 × 2 boxes; the larger grids have 2 × 3 boxes. Check all three before choosing a number.
Select a square, then a number
Tap or click an editable square, then choose a number below the grid. Fill the remaining squares until every row, column and box follows the rule. No arithmetic is needed.
Take your time
Use A little hint when you need help, or Undo to step back. There is no timer, and your unfinished puzzle saves in this browser when browser storage is available.

Can I leave a Garden Sudoku puzzle and return later?
