Give your memory a workout with Brain Teasers: 20 multiple-choice questions with a mix of 10 easy, 9 medium, 1 hard questions, free to play right in your browser. Put on your thinking cap! Solve these lateral thinking and logic puzzles. Expect to spend about 9 minutes; every question comes with an explanation, so you learn something even when you miss.

1. A man pushes his car to a hotel and tells the owner he's bankrupt. Why?
Answer: He's playing Monopoly

2. What has keys but no locks, space but no room, and you can enter but can't go inside?
Answer: A keyboard

3. If you have a bowl with six apples and you take away four, how many do you have?
Answer: Four
You have four — because you took four apples! The question asks how many YOU have, not how many are left in the bowl.
4. A rooster lays an egg on the peak of a roof. Which way does it roll?
Answer: Roosters don't lay eggs
Roosters don't lay eggs — only hens do! This is a classic trick question.
5. What comes once in a minute, twice in a moment, but never in a thousand years?
Answer: The letter M
The letter 'M' appears once in 'minute,' twice in 'moment,' and not at all in 'a thousand years.'

Most players finish Brain Teasers in about 9 minutes. You can pause between questions, replay it as often as you like, and there is no penalty for taking your time — answers are explained after you submit them.
