How to play Garden Worms
About 5 minutes per game. Step-by-step rules, in plain English.
Choose your garden
Pick Sunlit Meadow, Whispering Woodland, Lily Pond, or Apple Orchard. Press Start growing straight away, or open customization for Calm or Challenge, worm colors, and family rooms.
Gather three dew drops
Tap a destination, use arrow keys, or choose the thumb stick on a phone. Drag the stick to steer and release it to stop. Collect the blue droplets; your worm can carry six.
Bring a flower bed to life
Follow the dotted trail and compass to an unplanted bed. Arrive with three dew drops to grow flowers automatically. Each bed attracts a butterfly and improves your collecting reach.
Restore the whole garden
Grow six beds and finish the garden task: find woodland seeds, greet pond frogs, or carry orchard apples to the home basket. Discoveries go into your album. Firefly guide can help with both flowers and tasks.
Frequently asked questions
What is Garden Worms: Bloomtrail?
A free garden adventure across a meadow, woodland, pond, and orchard. Gather dew, grow flower beds, discover wildlife, and keep postcards in your collection album. No account or download is required.
What does Calm mode do?
Calm mode gives you slower movement, no harmful brambles, no lost lives, and no countdown. You can use the firefly guide whenever you would like help steering.
How do Firefly guide, Dew call, and Breeze work?
Firefly guide (G) leads you to dew and flower beds until you steer manually. Dew call (D) pulls nearby drops toward you for four seconds, with a twelve-second recharge. Hold Space while the garden has focus, or hold the Breeze button, for a burst of speed using rechargeable energy.
Can I play with family?
Yes. Open customization, choose Play alongside family, and copy an invitation. Everyone waters the same flower beds and contributes to the shared garden task. Add dew or a discovery to earn a shared postcard. If the connection drops, reconnect or choose to keep growing a solo copy.
Will my garden be saved?
Your unfinished solo garden and album save on this device when browser storage is available. Family rooms also keep their shared progress for seven days after activity. Choose Continue your garden to return. Your earlier Bloomtrail saves still work.
What happens when I lose my hearts in Challenge?
Your flowers stay safe. You can continue the same garden in Calm mode or start a new one. Growing a flower in Challenge restores one heart, and a four-second leaf shield protects you after a bump.
What can I collect in my garden album?
Keep postcards of your 40 most recent completed gardens, discover four butterfly species, find hidden seeds, and bring two dew drops to visiting wildlife. Finish one, three, and five gardens to unlock a birdbath, wind chimes, and garden bunting. Decorations appear beside the starting clearing.
